Observation Recommendation
All users wanted some way to access search entries without having to remember the exact entry.

The users asked for drop downs, but the development team has handled this issue by providing a browse button for every entry field.  This allows the user to run soft searches when needed without waiting for long load times.
The "and/or (default)" radio buttons consistently confused these users.  No one could figure out exactly what this button controlled.

UE recommended a redesign of this control.  See the artifacts below for the development team's current solution to this issue.
In the search results report, again high level users wanted to have more control over the message fields.  These users also wanted some way to sort the results before the were printed.   This is a good idea to explorer further as the product continues to develop.
Users also pointed out that the search report contains large blocks of color.  "Are these supposed to be printed?  People will complain about big blocks of color."  Development has addressed this concern, allowing users to customize the "severity" column.
One user was a bit confused by the change in type style for the search results report. We should continue testing this.  Since the functionality is very limited in this results report (it's like a Adobe Acrobat file) it makes sense to change the font, allowing the user to understand that they are no longer viewing an active (product) window.
